So, I have been thinking about video blogging. I’ve came to the conclusion that I need to put a video resume out there, and to be honest the thought scares me. I don’t know why; I guess it means that I really have to put myself out there and sometimes I feel insecure about things, but it seems everybody goes through this.
I don’t know really what I’ll be video blogging about. Let me think… I’ve got nothing. Except for the fact that video blogging is a great way to interact with your audience. Although me talking into a camera isn’t really interaction. I guess it comes down to the audience putting ideas and thoughts with a face. Sometimes all one needs to do is add some personalization to what they’re doing to help the reader, or the viewer, feel “closer” to the blogger, reporter, or just the person publishing the content.
Plus I firmly believe that video blogging and putting your personality out there on sites like YouTube is a great way for you to gain exposure to yourself and your blog. So these are the things I’m pondering over. I’m pretty sure I want to try some video blogging and in the future as soon as I get this site finished. So I guess I can say, be watching for some video blogs. I’m not sure what they’re going to be about, I’m not sure what quality, but I’ll do my best to put together the best I can.
